Granite

Granite is one of the most common constructing materials. Thanks to special minerals found in it, granite can show up in multiple colours, including grey, red or white. This makes it even easier to incorporate into buildings, complementing their usual design.
Ancient cultures started out using granite for constructing magnificent structures. Menkaure’s Pyramid, for instance, was built of granite blocks. But we can also see granite being used for the building of columns, jambs, wall and flooring veneer, as well as door lintels.
