1. Record the Exact Sink Brand and Model

Even sinks with similar overall dimensions can differ in:
bowl geometry;
flange width;
corner radius;
mounting detail;
cutout shape;
accessory rails;
faucet-deck configuration; and
manufacturer template.
Record the exact manufacturer and exact product reference in the Quartzite project file.
If the owner changes models later, treat that as a design input change rather than assuming the original opening remains suitable.
2. Use Current Manufacturer Documentation
Ask for the latest available manufacturer documentation for the exact model.
Useful source information may include:
technical data sheet;
dimensional drawing;
cutout template;
mounting instructions;
accessory information; and
installation notes.
The Quartzite supplier should not derive an irreversible cutting pattern from a product photograph, web thumbnail, or approximate catalog description.
Document Rule
The sink model number and the document used for fabrication should refer to the same product version. If the model, template, or manufacturer drawing changes, the stone opening should be reviewed again before cutting.
3. Confirm the Mounting Type
The mounting method changes the interface between the sink and the Quartzite.
Common project discussions include:
undermount sink;
top-mount or drop-in sink;
flush-mount detail;

other project-specific installation systems.
The stone quotation or drawing should identify which sink condition it is addressing.
